In a conversation with Puro Show (eltrece), the cumbia 420 figure stated that he learned about what happened through the media and admitted that some of the versions circulating were hard for him to believe.

"I know her and I am surprised by those words that are said or rumored because I lived with her for a long time. We lived in the same house. She had a space, a gym routine, everything very healthy. So it surprises me and I don't quite believe that part," he expressed.

When asked if he had ever seen Candela Arizaga use drugs during their relationship, he answered without hesitation. "In my memory, so far, I couldn't confirm that," he stated.

Throughout the interview, L-Gante insisted that the case surprised him completely and highlighted some traits of his ex-partner's personality.

"From what I've seen, it all seems very crazy to me. What I do know, having known her, is that she is a girl who moves forward, that if she has to say something, she will say it," he maintained.

At the same time, he wished that she could get through this moment surrounded by her closest circle.

"I believe they have tried to clarify everything. I wish her to always be surrounded by a healthy environment and that it is comfortable for her, something worry-free for her family and the people who care about her," he added.
