Libertarian congressman José Luis Espert wants to close ministries in Buenos Aires Province.

He stated that his intention is to eliminate several ministries, including the Ministries of Labor, Production, Environment, and Women's Affairs

Libertarian deputy José Luis Espert, a key figure for President Javier Milei in the Buenos Aires province, stated this Saturday that if he comes to power in the province, his intention is to eliminate several ministries, including Labor, Production, Environment, and Women's Affairs.

Although he avoided giving concrete details about the electoral strategy after the agreement with PRO, Espert reiterated that he plans to lead the La Libertad Avanza list in the province and stated that he is working together with President Milei with the goal of "governing the Province".

Regarding the agreement ahead of the Buenos Aires elections, the legislator expressed that they are willing to include all those who share the vision that "the State is oversized" and who support the closure of ministries that have no reason to exist.

He stated that "the Ministry of Labor, which makes no sense, the Ministry of Production, the Ministry of Environment, which is overseen by the national government, and also the Ministry of Women's Affairs, should be closed because violence against women is addressed at the municipal level".

Espert was also clear about his political goal: "We need to start shaking up Kicillof's nest now in 2025 and remove them for good in 2027". In addition, in an interview with Radio Mitre, Espert stated that he is working "so that in the Province, it's either jail or bullet".

At the same time, he emphasized the need for "a deep educational reform and to put an end to the Big Brother that is the Ministry of Education, which doesn't teach anything people need to know".

In the same vein, he insisted: "We are working on a tax reform to eliminate Gross Income Tax and end the system of withholdings. We are working on a mirror reform to govern the province".

Reaffirming his position, the libertarian leader stated that he is collaborating with Milei "and his teams on reforms so that the province can be freed from this filthy thing that is Kirchnerism, which has turned the province into a real sewer".

When asked if he feared Kicillof electorally, he replied firmly: "I detest Kicillof, what he represents repulses me because he has helped turn the province into a sewer".
