The host of Otro Día Perdido did not let the scandal between Nancy Pazos and her son Nicanor Santilli go unnoticed. Everything happened after Diego Santilli's victory in the 2025 legislative elections, which triggered a wave of reactions within the family.
While Pazos tried to distance herself from the controversy, Mario Pergolinitook advantage of the topic on his show and went straight to the point with one of his classic sharp remarks.

Nicanor's message against his mother
After Santilli's victory, his son Nicanor posted a statement on social media in defense of his father. In the text, he highlighted the determination, dedication, and values his dad taught him. This contrasts with Pazos's statements, who days earlier had said that her ex was "a bad influence" on their children.
"Enduring blows even from people we least expected, and even so you didn't respond", the young man wrote.
Nancy Pazos's response
Amid the commotion, Pazos tried to downplay the situation in an interview with Los Profesionales (América TV). "You're reading a post from my son as a reply to me, it's crazy", she said on camera.

She also stated that her son wrote the message "Sunday night from the bunker" and that "he's a wonderful kid, very involved in everything we do". However, her statements did not convince the public or several colleagues in the media.
Pergolini's comment against Nancy Pazos
Hours later, Mario Pergolini addressed the topic on Otro Día Perdido and did not hold back: "How sad to see your family divided by something so harmful, isn't it?", he commented with irony.
His colleague Layla asked if he was talking about politics, and Pergolini finished with a remark that made the studio laugh: "No, about Nancy Pazos".
