The dispute between Martín Redrado and Luciana Salazar escalated again in recent hours after it was confirmed that there was no agreement between the parties in the context of the legal case that pits them against each other.
The economist broke his silence on television and made a direct accusation against his ex-partner, who did not take long to respond with even more forceful statements.
In a conversation with A la tarde (América TV), Redrado stated that the legal process is ongoing and tried to distance himself from several versions that circulated around his public image.
Luciana Salazar explotó y contó toda la verdad del trato del empresario hacia ella y su hija, Matilda
"Many things have been said that are not true, many lies," he stated, before listing a series of refutations.
He denied being Matilda's father, asserted that he doesn't appear as a parent who is in arrears on child support in the Judicial Branch's records, and rejected any restriction on leaving the country.
"I work constantly in Argentina and abroad," he emphasized.
However, the strongest point of his statement came when he spoke about his relationship with Salazar.
"I suffered a lot of financial pressure during that process and I felt blackmailed," he said, and he made it clear that, from his point of view, the conflict revolves around a money dispute.
"It is important for it to be clear that there is a financial disagreement here", he concluded.
The statements triggered an immediate reaction from Luciana Salazar. The model replied on Puro Show (eltrece) with a harsh and unfiltered tone.
"He is a cynic, and on top of that with a minor, something that is beyond words. He goes from cynicism to malice", she declared, and she questioned her ex's legal strategy.
According to her version, Redrado "keeps changing his mind all the time" and doesn't have the prosecutors' support.
When she was asked directly about the accusation of blackmail, Salazar was blunt. She asserted that Redrado was not able to present evidence to support his complaint and stated that all the documentation added to the case file works in her favor.
"I submitted all the evidence. He did not contribute anything. What he says is contradicted by the evidence that exists", she maintained.
In the final part of her statement, the model added revelations that further heightened the conflict.
According to her account, while Redrado's legal team was talking about a harassment case against her, he was maintaining direct contact with her and with her daughter.
"He sent me emails inviting me to an island. He visited Matilda in secret, he brought her gifts, he fed her", she asserted.
