Mauro Icardi confessed which career he wanted to pursue before becoming a professional player
The player surprised everyone by revealing an unknown fact about his past
Galatasaray forward Mauro Icardi made headlines again, but this time not because of a goal or a romantic gesture toward Wanda Nara.
In the midst of an unexpected clash with Guillermo López, attorney and managing partner of the law firm representing his wife, the footballer surprised everyone by revealing an unknown fact about his past: he was about to start a university career.

It all began when Icardi made an ironic comment toward López on social media, in the context of a legal dispute involving Wanda Nara.
The lawyer's response was quick and as sharp as it was unexpected: "What can a little monkey who only knew how to kick a ball his whole life say? Maybe if he had started school, he would have better comprehension skills."
Far from remaining silent, the forward replied forcefully, and in his reply he revealed an unknown aspect of his youth. "Not only did I start school, I finished elementary and high school and I was about to start a university career, but life and my skills with the ball had something better prepared for my future... To work and earn my money honestly, which I doubt you know what it means," Icardi wrote.
Mauro Icardi is reportedly one step away from taking his daughters to Türkiye: Wanda's reaction
Wanda Nara is facing one of the toughest moments of her personal life. According to Yanina Latorre on the show Sálvese quien pueda (SQP), Mauro Icardi formally requested the international return of his daughters, a legal procedure seeking for the girls to return to live with him outside Argentina. The news took Wanda by surprise, who is reportedly "devastated" emotionally after receiving the court order.
The host explained that Wanda received the request just five minutes before going on air. Icardi is not only demanding custody of the girls, but also their passports, with the aim of preventing them from returning to Argentina. "Today Mauro wants to take them," Latorre said live, making clear the seriousness of the situation.

To better understand the legal scope of the conflict, the entertainment program contacted attorney Fernanda Castelli, a specialist in international child return. The lawyer explained that both Argentina and Türkiye —the countries where the family lived— are signatories to the 1980 Hague Convention, which regulates international child abduction. This obliges signatory countries to process these requests quickly and seriously.
"It's possible for him to request it," Castelli confirmed. The convention establishes that the process must take place in the country where the children had their center of life. If a judge determines that this place was Türkiye, the girls should return, even if they are now attending school or receiving medical care in Argentina.

This new chapter in the complex relationship between Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi brings to the table a dispute that goes beyond sentimental matters. The judicial decisions made in the coming days will determine their daughters' future and could reshape the family dynamic.
Meanwhile, Wanda remains in Argentina with the girls, without making any public statements so far. The businesswoman's silence fuels speculation, but the seriousness of the case is already making headlines in all the media.
The dispute over the custody and residence of their daughters opens a new legal front between Wanda and Icardi.
