Meta introduced its new Ray-Ban Display, a pair of smart glasses that feature an almost invisible display in one of the lenses and a wristband that allows users to control them with hand gestures. The announcement was made during the Meta Connect 2025 conference.
The model, developed together with Ray-Ban, aims to become a key device in the wearables market, combining classic design with augmented reality features and electromyography-based control.

A classic design with advanced technology
Ray-Ban Display keeps a traditional appearance, with speakers and six microphones in the temples, as well as a 12 MP camera. They weigh 70 grams (0.15 pounds) and allow users to listen to music, interact with Meta AI, translate audio and text, take photos, or stream live.
Since its debut in 2021 with Ray-Ban Stories, Meta has already sold 4.4 million units of connected glasses, consolidating its presence in this segment.
The invisible display and its features
The main innovation is the integrated display in the right lens. It has a resolution of 600 x 600 pixels, 5000 nits of brightness, and covers only 20 degrees of the field of view. It allows users to view maps, messages, notifications, weather, or real-time subtitles.
