Who is Jonathan Cirtain

In his professional profile, he defined himself as a "astrophysicist turned technology executive". Background of the relationship with Argentina
It was not the first time that the Argentine Government engaged with Axiom Space. In June 2025, the National Commission on Space Activities, together with the National Secretariat of Innovation, Science, and Technology and the American company had signed an addendum to a memorandum of understanding.
That agreement formalized Argentina's official support for the candidacy of the engineer from Salta, Noel de Castro. Her profile is recognized as a potential first Argentine female astronaut to join the crew of a private spaceflight.
The understanding established the mutual interest in cooperating on space projects. It also endorsed the reservation of a place for an Argentine professional on a future Private Astronaut Mission (PAM) to the International Space Station.
