President Javier Milei concluded an intense political day in Mar del Plata this Tuesday with a fiery speech at Derecha Fest, where he reaffirmed his government's ideological pillars and maintained that "the people said enough of making us poorer." The event, held at the Horizonte Club de Playa resort, brought together libertarian activists and leaders in a new show of support for the pro-government course.
The president's activities began with a walk through the city center as part of the so-called Tour de la Gratitud during yesterday's events. After visiting the main factory of the legendary ice cream shop "Lucciano's," Milei went to the Roxy Theater to attend the show "Fátima Universal," headlined by Fátima Florez, with whom he shared the stage and sang "El rock del gato" by Ratones Paranoicos. The gesture, celebrated by the audience, added a relaxed tone to a day marked by militant mystique.
Later in the evening, the president was the keynote speaker at Derecha Fest, organized by the Faro Foundation and its head Agustín Laje. Before a packed auditorium, Milei once again focused on the cultural battle and on the need to consolidate a deep change in Argentina. In that context, he defended capitalism as the system that enabled the leap in prosperity in the West and stressed that there's no act more just than being owners of our own time and the fruit of our work.
