The news of the voluntary hospitalization of Luciano Castro caused a strong impact in the entertainment world. The actor decided to enter a therapeutic center after going through weeks of intense media exposure following his separation from Griselda Siciliani, a situation that, according to reports, affected him deeply.
The one who broke the silence was Moria Casán, a close friend of the heartthrob, who provided details about how he is going through these first days of treatment.
On the air of La mañana con Moria, the host stated that she was in contact with Castro before his admission and that he himself asked her to be his public voice.
"I checked myself in because I want to be well", Moria conveyed on behalf of the actor, and she clarified that she did not speak with any other media outlet about his personal situation.
According to her explanation, at the center where he is staying he can't use his cell phone permanently, so communications are limited. Even so, she maintained that she feels he is focused on his recovery. "He is trying to heal, to move forward. He needs to get rid of the ghosts", she expressed.
The diva also pointed out that Castro is going through a moment of anger and sensitivity regarding the media coverage of the issue. "He feels there was sensationalism and that they made fun of him. He is angry and he believes there is a lot of malice", she commented.

Moria emphasized that the decision to be hospitalized was completely voluntary and that, in her view, when someone takes that step in the face of any type of addiction or personal crisis, it is a significant advance. "It is a major step forward in the healing process", she stated.
The information about the hospitalization first became known on LAM, where panelist Pepe Ochoa explained that the actor entered a center with group therapeutic treatments and various activities aimed at helping him through the difficult emotional moment.
"He is in a very delicate state, he feels very bad, he feels that he lost the woman of his life. The media exposure affected him very badly", Ochoa stated on the show.
In parallel, Moria said that she is also in contact with Siciliani and she clarified that the actress has no connection with the hospitalization. "She wishes him absolutely the best and she is focused on her work", she asserted.
