Light Show from Space
Astronaut Jessica Meir, commander of SpaceX's Crew-12 mission, shared an impressive timelapse of the aurora australis viewed from the International Space Station. The aurora "danced and twisted" just below the spacecraft, offering an unforgettable spectacle.
"I am in awe of this evocative phenomenon," Meir wrote on social media. The video captures the result of a recent solar activity. From the ground, auroras were also visible in more regions thanks to G2 and G3 geomagnetic storm alerts issued by NOAA.
