Netanyahu announced a major Israeli army incursion into the Gaza Strip
The Prime Minister of Israel announced a major deployment of the armed forces as part of a new operation against Hamas
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the Israeli army is preparing for a full-scale offensive in the Gaza Strip in the coming days, with the stated goal of defeating and destroying Hamas.
In an official statement issued on Tuesday, Netanyahu was emphatic: "In the coming days, we will enter with all our strength to complete the operation. Completing the operation means defeating Hamas. It means destroying Hamas."
The Israeli leader made it clear that there will be no permanent interruption in the conflict: "There will be no situation where we stop the war. There may be a temporary ceasefire, but we are going all the way," he noted.

This message reinforces his government's stance of continuing military operations until achieving their strategic objectives, despite international pressure for a permanent ceasefire and a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
In addition to the military offensive, Netanyahu revealed that his administration is working on a possible relocation of Palestinian residents out of Gaza.
During a meeting with soldiers wounded in combat held on Monday, the prime minister commented that his government has established a special administration to facilitate the exit of Gazans from the enclave, as long as countries willing to receive them are found. "We need countries that are willing to take them in. That's what we are working on now," he indicated.

Netanyahu estimated that "more than 50 percent will leave" if given the opportunity to leave Gaza. This proposal has caused strong optimism.
Netanyahu's statements come at a time of escalation in the conflict, when Israeli forces have already carried out intense military operations in Gaza following attacks launched by Hamas on Israeli territory.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza is critical, with thousands dead, displaced, and severely damaged civilian infrastructure. Meanwhile, the international community has expressed growing concern over the high cost in human lives on both sides and the lack of progress toward a negotiated solution.
