Just days before the legislative elections, Patricia Bullrich arrived in Córdoba to support the libertarian candidate Gonzalo Roca. During her visit, the Minister of Security expressed criticism toward former governor Juan Schiaretti and urged the people of Córdoba to "vote for change." In this context, she called on the leader to "collaborate with the national government" and to "stop aligning with Kirchnerism."
"I respect Schiaretti. I say to the people of Córdoba: look at how his wife, Alejandra Vigo, voted. I hope Schiaretti understands that changes need to be made," Bullrich told local media. Her statements caused an immediate reaction from the national senator, who replied publicly. Vigo replied, without providing arguments: "I will continue voting against laws that harm Córdoba and our people."
The senator also defended her position regarding the national government's vetoes. "I reject the veto that removes rights for people with disabilities, the veto on funding for public universities and Garrahan Hospital," she wrote on social media. She also questioned measures aimed at closing agencies such as INTA and Conicet, and stated defiantly: "If you are a senator, we will meet in the chamber to debate these issues."
