Insecurity has once again struck brutally in the capital of Buenos Aires Province. A 13-year-old boy was left unconscious after receiving a violent blow to the head with an iron bar while trying to defend his mother from an attack carried out by motorcycle thieves in the San Carlos de La Plata neighborhood.
The incident occurred at the intersection of 145 and 526 streets. There, two criminals intercepted the woman, beat her savagely, and in the midst of the struggle, her son tried to intervene to protect her. The assailants' reaction was ferocious: one of them struck him with such violence that he was left lying on the ground, unconscious.
La Plata, San Carlos.
According to information provided to local media, while the victim and her son remained injured, a second motorcycle with two other thieves arrived at the scene and took the woman's car. The local portal 0221 reported that the coordination and violence of the attack led investigators to suspect that it was a robbery planned by a criminal gang.
The case, classified as "aggravated robbery and injuries," is being handled by the local prosecutor's office, which is investigating the possible involvement of the four assailants in a criminal organization that may have already acted with the same modus operandi in the area. Security camera footage is currently being analyzed to determine the whereabouts of the criminals.

Another case in La Matanza
The same province that Governor Axel Kicillof and his mayor, the ultra-Kirchnerist, Fernando Espinoza, insist on presenting as "on equal footing" was once again stained with blood in González Catán. There, Dilan Joel Insfrán, a 17-year-old teenager, was killed by three gunshots when he tried to save his mother from a robbery.
The crime occurred the day before yesterday in the afternoon, when Alicia Ojeda, 53 years old, was arriving at her home with her Toyota Hilux pickup truck and was surprised by four criminals, one of them only 15 years old. It was 6:35 p.m. when they tried to steal her vehicle. When he saw the situation, her son tried to defend her, but he was shot three times: twice in an armpit and once in the neck.
The young man was rushed to Simplemente Evita de La Matanza hospital, where he arrived without vital signs. The criminals escaped without taking anything. Neighbors in the area, outraged, summed up the tragedy bluntly: "They took a kid who only wanted to save his mom," one of them told the media. The moments before and after the crime were captured on security cameras.
