The A3b mini-expansion features Eevee ex, its evolutions, and new cards with an impact on the metagame
The world of Pokémon TCG Pocket continues to expand with the arrival of a new expansion that promises to captivate both players and collectors. This is "Eevee Grove," the upcoming miniset of the A3b series, which will be officially released on June 26, 2025.
This edition puts the charismatic Eevee center stage along with its multiple evolutions, including ex versions with enhanced abilities and renewed artwork.

According to details from the official Pokémon channel in Spanish, "Eevee Grove" will focus on strengthening strategies built around this iconic Pokémon. The new Eevee ex card improves substantially compared to previous versions by offering more hit points (HP) and a more functional attack, optimizing the consistency of themed decks.
In addition to Eevee, the miniset will include retrains of its evolutions—known as Eeveelutions—: Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Sylveon. Some of these creatures will arrive in new ex versions, such as Flareon ex, which accelerates the charging of Fire Energies at the cost of self-damage, and Sylveon ex, which allows you to draw two cards when evolving from an Eevee.
New support cards and thematic elements
Among the most striking additions are support cards like Noa, a Supporter based on the trainer who used Eeveelutions in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games. Eevee Backpack is also introduced, an item card that offers versatility in decks centered on this Pokémon family.

The set will also include other thematic cards, featuring Pokémon such as Swirlix, Alcremie, and Milcery, which share a "cute" design and are integrated into the overall aesthetic of the expansion. The miniset is estimated to reach about 100 cards, including alternate artwork and possibly new shiny Pokémon, a common practice in recent expansions.
Anticipated impact on competitive play
"Eevee Grove" not only targets fans of the franchise, but could also generate significant changes in the metagame. The new evolution abilities and the increased deck-building speed offered by Eevee ex and Sylveon ex could alter dominant strategies, paving the way for new combinations in tournaments and rankings.
