Leon and Grace, protagonists of the new story
The game brings back Leon S. Kennedy, survivor of the Raccoon City incident in Resident Evil 2. It also introduces Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst.
Grace is the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft, a journalist seen in Resident Evil Outbreak. The concept combines two perspectives on horror.
Game size and pre-load
According to leaked information, Resident Evil Requiem would be the largest title in the series. On PS5 it would take up 72.88 GB in its launch version.
The pre-load is already available for those who bought the game in digital format. This will allow players to start playing as soon as it is enabled.
Hideki Kamiya's anger over the leaks
Kamiya recalled a similar experience during the launch of Resident Evil 2. As he explained, at that time a magazine published a key image from the game ahead of time.
In his message, he described those who share spoilers as "selfish." He maintained that they do not take into account the players who are waiting to discover the story on their own.
He also stated that the leaks "trample" the development team's work. The designer was forceful in his statements and targeted those who spread the content before the official premiere.
