Four months before the end of his contract with São Paulo, Enzo Díaz's future appears to be decided. The 29-year-old left back has a strong chance of remaining with Hernán Crespo's team, as he is about to fulfill a key clause in his loan contract.
According to journalist Maximiliano Grillo, the Brazilian club will have to purchase the player's rights for 2 million dollars if he reaches 60% of the season's matches. Currently, Enzo only needs five more matches to meet that requirement, so at River there is already excitement about that incoming money ahead of the next transfer window.
Since his arrival at Tricolor at the beginning of the year, Enzo Díaz has played 34 official matches, with one goal and three assists to his name. In addition, he has been booked seven times and has not received a red card. Although he has not won any titles, his continuity is solid and Crespo considers him key for the second half of the Brasileirão as well as for the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores.
