Roberto Piazza came out to clarify information that circulated through various portals and placed him at the center of attention alongside President Javier Milei. The designer denied a fight with the president and stated that "I support La Libertad Avanza."

Why didn't Javier Milei attend Roberto Piazza's annual fashion show? The false reason that circulated from a media outlet in Mendoza initially was that a strong argument between the two led to the president's cancellation of the high fashion event organized by the designer.

According to the version that was later denied, the president called him in the early hours to ask him to include Lilia Lemoine in the show, something the designer allegedly refused, triggering the supposed fight. When asked by a reporter from Desayuno Americano (América), Piazza denied any kind of discussion with Milei and explained why he was not at the event.

"It wasn't the right time to hold such an event in this current situation," the haute couture designer explained on Canal E and added: "Besides, my schedule was very complicated."

"This was planned more than three months ago, that I was going to invite him, then the idea came up for him to sing," he noted. He continued: "Then all the chaos was created just at this moment in Argentina, and we talked about how it wasn't the time for a party."

"I think it was politicizing too much, and we agreed very well." Regarding the version of the fight with the president, Piazza was emphatic: "All that you heard was invented by a journalist from Mendoza from a newspaper that is totally opposed to Milei."
