The province of Mendoza is advancing with an infrastructure and productive development strategy that has as one of its main axes the reconstruction of National Route 143 and the integration into the energy activity of Vaca Muerta. In this context, the management led by Governor Alfredo Cornejo, with a prominent role of Natalio Mema, promotes projects aimed at improving connectivity, strengthening logistics, and expanding opportunities for the private sector.
One of the central projects is the reconstruction of Route 143, a structural intervention that encompasses more than 100 kilometers between Pareditas and San Rafael. The work is financed with Funds for Industrial Promotion Compensation and aims to recover a fundamental corridor for cargo transport, commerce, and tourism in the southern province.
The recovery of this route will improve the connection between different Mendoza towns and facilitate the transfer of production to other points in the region. It also represents an intervention on a key infrastructure to reduce the logistical costs faced by companies and SMEs.
Natalio Mema promotes an infrastructure agenda linked to productive development
The reconstruction of Route 143 is part of a broader planning that seeks to direct public resources towards works with a direct impact on economic activity. Natalio Mema occupies a central place in this provincial agenda, which links road infrastructure with the needs of productive sectors and the generation of new investments.
The strategy of the Mendoza government also contemplates greater provincial participation in the development of unconventional hydrocarbons. To this end, Mendoza deepens its coordination with YPF and the province of Neuquén, with the aim of adding capacities and taking advantage of the opportunities offered by Vaca Muerta.
