Samsung officially unveiled the new Galaxy S26 series during the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in San Francisco. The family includes three models: S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra.
The focus was on improvements in cameras, artificial intelligence, privacy, and performance. In Argentina, sales will begin on March 11.

Galaxy S26 Ultra: technical specifications and new features
The Galaxy S26 Ultra incorporates a four-camera system. It includes a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide, and dual telephoto lenses of 50 MP (5x) and 10 MP (3x).
The digital zoom reaches up to 100x. It adds an aperture that is 37% wider and improvements in stabilization for 8K video.
Display and privacy
It integrates a new Private Display with an optical filter on the OLED panel. It reduces the side viewing angle without affecting front quality. It also adds an anti-reflective coating, in addition to improving visibility outdoors and under intense light.

Processor and battery
The Ultra model uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The S26 and S26 Plus models will arrive in Argentina with the Exynos 2600 built on 2 nanometers and featuring 10 cores.
The Ultra's fast charging reaches 60 W. Samsung promises 75% battery in 30 minutes.

Artificial intelligence and software
The series runs on Android 16 and One UI 8.5. It integrates Galaxy AI with advanced photo editing, real-time translation, and contextual assistance.
It includes Call Screening, which answers unknown calls and transcribes the reason before you pick up. It also allows you to summarize texts and transcribe calls from the device.
Galaxy S26 price in Argentina
According to Clarín, the Galaxy S26 Ultra 256 GB will have a price close to $3,500,000. It will be possible to pay in up to 12 interest-free installments with most banks.
