The institutional internal affairs of San Lorenzo added a new chapter in recent hours with a legal filing by Marcelo Culotta, former member of the Board of Directors, before Civil Court No. 51. The official thus replied to the actions promoted by Marcelo Moretti and defended the validity of what was done in the meeting in which the club's leadership vacuum was declared.
Culotta, who submitted his resignation as a board member in that same meeting, explained that his intervention before the courts aims to preserve the institutional framework of Ciclón and to confront any attempt to challenge the minutes that left the entity without formal leadership. In that regard, he emphasized that the filings submitted by the president aim to disregard a decision adopted by the club's governing bodies after a formal debate and with the corresponding quorum.
In his brief, the former official recalled that Moretti has been charged with contempt of court and indicted for fraudulent administration, situations that, as stated, worsen the institutional situation and help explain the current conflict. In addition, it is noted that the president repeatedly failed to comply with the court order to convene the Board of Directors, which led to a blockage of the normal functioning of the blaugrana club.
