The name of Sebastián Villa is one of the most prominent in this transfer window. After a standout 2025 wearing the Independiente Rivadavia jersey, several clubs set their sights on the Colombian, and, according to various rumors, one of them would be none other than River.
In a recent interview for the Picado TV channel, the former Boca player publicly expressed his desire to join the Millonario. "I have seen the interest and my agent and I have made the decision. I told him yes, that I would like to play for River. It is my future and my family's, I want to keep growing".
"I am a very strong-minded guy. If Gallardo calls me, I will travel tomorrow, I do not have a problem. If I get this opportunity, I will make the most of it", he insisted with conviction.
