
September games on PS Plus Essential: three titles to add to your library
Sony confirms the free PS Plus Essential games for September, available from September 3 to October 7
Sony has revealed the free games that PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers can claim starting September 2. The selection includes titles for PS5 and PS4, featuring a wide variety of mechanics and styles.
As every month, users can add three games to their library at no additional cost. September's list offers a platforming adventure, a farm simulator, and an innovative first-person puzzle game.

September's free games
- Psychonauts 2 (PS4): Continuation of Razputin "Raz" Aquato's story, a young psychic who joins the Psychonauts organization. Explore surreal minds, solve puzzles, and fight using psychic powers.
- Stardew Valley (PS4): Farm simulation game where you can grow crops, raise animals, fish, and interact with the town's residents. It includes festivals, customization, and a relaxing pixel art style.
- Viewfinder (PS5): First-person puzzles with innovative mechanics. Use photos or drawings to transform the environment's reality and solve creative challenges in colorful worlds.
Dates and availability
The games will be available from September 2 to October 6. Users must claim them during that period for them to remain in their library permanently.
Sony reminds users that August's games can be claimed until September 1.
