Serious accusation against Riquelme's brother: he is accused of threats and assault
Paula Seminara, representative of the minority group at Boca, reported misogynistic insults, threats, and physical contact by 'Chanchi' during the Club World Cup
A new conflict shakes Boca's internal affairs. Paula Seminara, a club member and minority representative in the Assembly of Representatives, filed a criminal complaint against Cristian "Chanchi" Riquelme, brother of president Juan Román Riquelme, for alleged threats, misogynistic insults, and inappropriate physical contact.

According to Seminara's account, the incident took place on June 24 during the match between Xeneize and Auckland City in Nashville, for the Club World Cup. During a storm warning break, the official returned to her seat with a pizza and filmed a nearby box where Nicolás Figal was, who was not playing due to suspension. There, Cristian Riquelme apparently thought he was being recorded, which triggered a violent reaction.
"He started insulting me, threatening me, among other things. He called me 'Putita.' And not only that, but also he put a hand on me," Seminara reported in a video she posted on her social media.
The first complaint was filed at the stadium with Nashville police officers, who took note of the incident and witnesses. Later, already in Buenos Aires, she expanded her statement before the Buenos Aires Public Prosecutor's Office, requesting precautionary measures against Chanchi. She also plans to submit a formal complaint to the club's Department of Inclusion and Equality.
Seminara also targeted other officials present at the scene, such as Alejandro Veiga and Carlos Colombo, whom she accused of not intervening and of downplaying what happened.

"They told me I was making a scene when I was overwhelmed by the threats. This person (Chanchi) is used to operating with coercion, threats, and with total impunity. I'm going to go to the last consequences."
In her video, which went viral, she called for an immediate response from the club: "We can't allow this kind of behavior in the institution. If we want football free of violence, we can't have employees acting like hooligans."
What Cristian Riquelme said
In statements to Infobae, Cristian Riquelme denied all accusations and announced that he will also go to court. "She told one lie after another. To this day, she hasn't gone to the club to file any complaint with the gender department. I don't know how many more silly things she's going to say, but now I'm going all the way," he said.
The Boca president's brother also pointed out that his daughters were present at the time of the incident, and for that reason he decided not to let it go. "I want her to bring all the evidence that I coerced or threatened her. I don't want apologies, I'm going all the way with the courts," he concluded.
