Starting today, Kicillof and Macri increased the bus fare in CABA and PBA.
Meanwhile, the national government maintains the lines that correspond to it with the same value since August 2024
Starting today, public transportation fares in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and the Province of Buenos Aires (PBA) have experienced a new increase due to the decision of Axel Kicillof, governor of PBA, and Jorge Macri, head of the Buenos Aires government.
However, the National Jurisdiction lines—those managed by the National State and mostly connecting CABA and PBA—did not undergo fare changes and maintain the values established since August 2024.
New bus fares in CABA and PBA
National Jurisdiction lines (no increase)
- Minimum fare with registered SUBE: $371.13

- Fare without registered SUBE: $590.10

Number of lines by jurisdiction
The bus system in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) is composed of different jurisdictions:
- 103 lines under National Jurisdiction (no increases).
- 250 lines in the Province of Buenos Aires (including municipal and provincial).
- 31 lines in the City of Buenos Aires.

The increase in bus fares exclusively affects the lines operating within CABA and PBA, while those of National Jurisdiction maintain their prices unchanged. As always, having a registered SUBE remains key to accessing the lowest fare and avoiding additional costs in public transportation.
