Strong clash on LAM: Arietto confronted Feudale over her defense of Cristina Kirchner
The legislator warned that house arrest could be revoked, while Feudale suggested a plot against her
The controversy erupted again in the LAM studio after the recent house arrest ordered against Cristina Kirchner. During a heated live discussion, journalist and panelist Marcela Feudale, a well-known Kirchnerism supporter, had a strong exchange with Senator Florencia Arietto, who celebrated the final conviction against the former vice president and warned about its possible revocation.
The tension increased as they debated the conditions imposed by Federal Oral Court No. 2: Cristina Kirchner must serve her sentence in her apartment in the Constitución neighborhood, and there can't be any disturbances in front of her residence. At that point, Arietto explained that if there are protests or chaos in the public space, the measure can be reversed.
"If they make a mess downstairs, it's going to affect her. This isn't mandatory, she's the one putting herself on the line," Arietto stated bluntly.
Feudale suggested a conspiracy and defended Cristina's innocence
Feudale, firm in her defense of the convicted former president, shifted the focus of the debate and warned about the alleged presence of "provocateur agents" among the demonstrators. "Even if it's not provoked by her? There could be someone causing trouble to harm her. It's rather arbitrary," she said, dismissing any responsibility from Cristina's activist circle.

Arietto, firm in her position, replied harshly: "But do you think the provocateur agent is going to be there with a microphone shouting 'aguante Cristina'? Don't be ridiculous." The response revealed the level of tension between the two, while host Ángel de Brito and other panelists tried to calm things down.
The back-and-forth became more heated. Feudale insisted on the idea of an external maneuver to harm Cristina, while Arietto pointed out that the court was clear: if coexistence is affected, the former vice president will have to continue serving her sentence in a prison.
The conditions of house arrest that trouble Kirchnerism
Cristina Kirchner began serving her sentence for corruption under house arrest yesterday. TOF No. 2 established that she must remain in her residence on San José Street, in the Constitución neighborhood, and that any disturbance of public order—including loud noises or mass mobilizations—could nullify that benefit.
According to the ruling, she may only leave the residence in cases of force majeure, with prior judicial authorization. In addition, she must refrain from actions that disturb the peace of the neighborhood.
The political divide was once again exposed during television prime time. Meanwhile, the judiciary moves forward with the conviction of a key Kirchnerism figure, her defenders, such as Feudale, try to downplay the consequences, even resorting to conspiracy theories. But as Arietto reminded, "if they're smart, they'll get it. If not, they'll ruin it."
House arrest doesn't erase the conviction or the responsibility. Nor do support marches, no matter how massive they are.
