This is Ronaldo Martínez, the Paraguayan forward who in the last tournament was crowned top scorer in Argentine soccer.
The 29-year-old player was presented and is at coach Carlos Tévez's disposal for Friday's debut against Newell's in the first round of the Professional League.

"It is an important step in my career. I had been looking for it, I am very happy, my whole family and I are very happy", Martínez said at a press conference.
"I want to learn from Carlos Tevez. He is a forward like me and I know that I can learn a lot from him", he added.
"I come from important achievements at Platense and I plan to do the same here. The challenge is nice, having Carlos coach me is something I love because I can learn a lot", concluded the forward, who said that he is ready to make his debut on Friday itself.

Ronaldo Iván Martínez Rolón is 29 years old and plays as a forward.
Born in Eusebio Ayala (Paraguay), Martínez came up through the youth ranks at Cerro Porteño and was promoted to the first team in 2015. At the "Ciclón de barrio Obrero" he played a leading role in 15 matches and scored 4 goals.
In 2022, Martínez returned to Paraguay to play for Resistencia Sport Club. With the Asunción side, the forward had an excellent season, playing 40 matches and scoring 13 goals.
After his great year in Paraguay, Martínez was a key player in the top tier of Argentine soccer, wearing Platense's jersey.
Wearing the "Calamar" colors, the forward played 113 matches and scored 22 goals.
In 2025, he was a key piece in Vicente López's team's title in the Torneo Apertura, the club's first official title in the top division.
In the most recent year, Martínez was drafted to wear Paraguay's national team colors. With his country's national team, he played 4 matches between CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers and friendlies.
Talleres acquired Ronaldo Iván Martínez Rolón's federative and economic rights on a permanent basis, and the forward is already training with the squad that will face the 2026 season.
