The weekend's big tables: El Eternauta and entertainment figures on TV

Mirtha Legrand and Juana Viale lead two television events filled with culture, current affairs, and emotions

This weekend, El Trece presents two television proposals with their own weight. Mirtha Legrand  and Juana Viale return to lead their historic "mesazas" with guests spanning art, health, showbiz, and the most current affairs.

The table on Saturday, May 24 will revolve around one of the year's big bets: the series  El Eternauta,  the ambitious adaptation that Netflix made of the classic Argentine comic created by Héctor Germán Oesterheld.

Saturday of science fiction and politics on "La noche de Mirtha"

The host, Mirtha Legrand, will welcome Ricardo Darín, Carla Peterson, Andrea Pietra, Marcelo Subiotto, and Ariel Staltari, all part of the cast that revives a dystopian story with strong social overtones. The series places the characters in a Buenos Aires covered by a deadly snowfall, trapped between terror and collective resistance.

Ricardo Darín,  who plays Juan Salvo, spoke about the symbolic weight of the character and the magnitude of the project. After his role in Argentina, 1985, he considered this new work as another great artistic and emotional challenge.

Carla Peterson returns to television drama with an intimate role that anchors the story from a family perspective. She said she was moved by the contemporary reading of the script, which addresses fear, solidarity, and collective organization.

Andrea Pietra highlights that the series engages multiple generations, while Marcelo Subiotto adds a philosophical perspective: his character faces ethical dilemmas in a collapsing world. Meanwhile, Ariel Staltari praises the production and visual approach of the series, following his successes in El Marginal and Okupas.

Thus, Saturday's broadcast not only brings together the cast of an acclaimed series but also opens a space to reflect on politics, art, and memory.

Sunday at noon: emotions, shows, and health on "Almorzando con Juana"

On Sunday, May 25, Juana Viale will lead a varied table on Almorzando con Juana. Among the guests will be Roly Serrano, Aníbal Pachano, Eva Bargiela, Christian Sancho, and Dr. Enrique De Rosa Alabaster.

Roly Serrano, in full health recovery, will share his recent experience. Known for his roles in El Marginal and Relatos Salvajes, the actor will reflect on his present and his career.

Aníbal Pachano will also be present with his straightforward style. An icon of theater and television, he will address issues related to health and resilience, especially after his public testimony about HIV.

Eva Bargiela will arrive with the joy of her recent pregnancy.  In previous statements, she expressed her happiness about starting a family and living a full and anticipated stage.

Christian Sancho, currently co-host of the reality show El Juego Empezó, will talk about his role in the physical competition cycle and his relationship with Celeste Muriega, his partner and co-host.

Dr. Enrique De Rosa Alabaster  will provide his expert perspective following an event that shocked the country:the discovery of a murdered family in Villa Crespo. With mental health at the center of the debate, the forensic psychiatrist will analyze the context and the factors involved.

The weekend "mesazas" on El Trece promise entertainment, reflection, and current affairs. From a series that rescues a milestone of Argentine culture to intimate testimonies and analyses on sensitive topics, the screen will once again be a mirror of what happens to us.
