The preliminary stages of the 2026 Copa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores were drawn

The 2026 editions of the Copa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores are starting to take shape. At the convention center of CONMEBOL in Luque, the draws for the first phases of both tournaments took place.

The only Argentine team that had to be alert to this event was Argentinos Juniors. El Bicho de La Paternal will play the Preliminary Phase 2 of "La Gloria Eterna" against a representative from Ecuador, which still has to be decided between Liga de Quito and Barcelona de Guayaquil. If it advances, it will face in Phase 3 the winner between a representative from Bolivia and Botafogo.
