Thiago Medina decided to face the rumors, criticism, and doubts with the same directness with which he approached his recovery.
This Wednesday, the former Gran Hermano contestant shared for the first time on his social media the deep scars left on his abdomen after the serious motorcycle accident he suffered between September and October, an episode that left him hospitalized in intensive care and brought him to the brink of death.
The images, which quickly went viral, show him standing in front of the mirror, with his torso exposed and a long vertical mark running down the center of his abdomen: the unmistakable trace of the surgeries that saved his life.

Alongside the photos, Thiago published a statement where he explained why he decided to show his wounds.
"Knowing that thanks to these scars I'm still alive is something that will mark me for the rest of my life," he wrote in the opening lines, making it clear that every inch of that mark is part of a survival story.
However, his message also had another goal: to silence those users who, without knowing his medical process, questioned the seriousness of what he experienced.

"For people to doubt such a serious situation seems disrespectful to me, but anyway, I'm posting this so you can see it wasn't an act or anything like that," he replied firmly.
He added: "I hope this clears up all the doubts you had. Thank God I'm here, and thanks to all of you who prayed and asked for me."
The post sparked a flood of supportive messages. His partner, Daniela Celis, was one of the first to comment: "The scar that saved your life."
From the ex-GH community, Nacho Castañares, his former housemate, also showed support, telling him: "Wear it with pride, as you know."
Meanwhile, from the new generation of contestants, Martín Ku wrote to him: "What a mark that shows how much of a warrior you are." Bauti Mascia also joined in, reminding him: "Wear it with pride, brother."
