El Trece is betting on new shows during prime time: What will happen to Ahora Caigo?
The arrival of Mario Pergolini and changes in El Trece's programming
El Trece is undergoing a programming restructuring, aiming to strengthen its nighttime audience. In this process, it has confirmed the return of key figures such as Mario Pergolini, who will join the channel's prime time with "Otro Día Perdido."
However, not everything is so clear for some of the shows currently on air, such as Guido Kaczka's, who seems to be the most affected.
The future of "Ahora Caigo" and the arrival of new formats
With Pergolini's return, the popular show The Balls, hosted by Guido Kaczka, will say goodbye to prime time. However, the channel has a new format in mind to keep Kaczka in the nighttime line-up. Starting July 14, the host will lead a revamped show titled "Buenas Noches Familia", focused on an entertainment format with dogs, although some details, such as broadcast times, still need to be defined.
What awaits us in the nighttime time slot?
With these changes, El Trece's nighttime programming is being reorganized as follows:
- Telenoche
- Ahora Caigo
- Buenas Noches Familia
- Otro Día Perdido
These new schedules will add to the competition for the prime time audience, while El Trece continues trying to improve its ratings.
The future of afternoons on El Trece
Meanwhile, El Trece's afternoon will also be modified. The daytime line-up is currently structured as follows:
- 2:45 p.m.: Viviana en Vivo (with Viviana Canosa)
- 4:00 p.m.: Cuestión de Peso (with Mario Massaccesi)
- 5:30 p.m.: Reacción en Cadena (with Homero Pettinato)
- 6:30 p.m.: Los 8 Escalones (with Guido Kaczka)
However, Viviana en Vivowill come to an end at the end of July, and Reacción en Cadena is also at risk of cancellation due to the low audience numbers that Pettinato's show has recorded.
Despite these changes and restructurings, El Trece continues its renewal strategy in search of improving its position against the competition.
