The Government modified the Traffic Law to streamline the driver's license renewal process. Now it can be done from anywhere in the country and 100% digitally.
Additionally, the digital version of the National Driver's License has the same legal validity as the physical one. It is available in the Mi Argentina app.

What changes with the new licensing system?
Decree 196/2025 modernizes the licensing system and removes bureaucratic obstacles. Renewal no longer depends exclusively on a municipal center.
For private drivers (categories A, B, and G), a psychophysical check done by a doctor authorized by the ANSV is sufficient.
Where is the medical exam conducted?
The exam can be done in any office or medical center registered in the National Road Safety Agency's system.

This promotes competition among professionals and makes the process more agile, without endless appointments or unnecessary travel.
Professional licenses: requirements simplified
The National Interjurisdictional Transport License (LiNTI) was eliminated. From now on, licenses C, D, or E are sufficient to drive throughout the country.
