Volkswagen has confirmed the arrival of the Tera, its new entry-level SUV, which will be launched soon in the country.
Imported from Brazil, this model aims to compete in the B segment with a modern, affordable, and well-equipped offering.

What does the new Volkswagen Tera offer?
The Volkswagen Tera is built on the modular MQB platform, the same one used by other compact models from the brand.
Designed in Brazil by José Carlos Pavone's team, it features a completely renewed exterior and interior style.

Engines and available versions
In Brazil, the range starts with the MPI version, which features a 1.0 naturally aspirated engine with 84 hp and a 5-speed manual transmission.
It includes a digital dashboard, six airbags, autonomous braking, and fatigue detection, among other safety systems.

Turbo engine and more technology
Starting from the Comfort level, the Tera incorporates the 1.0 turbo three-cylinder engine that delivers up to 116 hp in Brazil.
In Argentina, this engine is available with 101 hp and 170 Nm, already present in models such as Polo, Nivus, and T-Cross.
It can be paired with a manual or automatic six-speed transmission. All versions are front-wheel drive.
