A witness in the Maradona case contradicted herself and the judge warned: 'She has to...'
The witness changed her version during the trial and the judge warned her: 'You have to tell the truth.'
Andrea Flavia Jordan, the real estate agent who managed the rental of the house where Diego Maradona died, changed her statement in court. The judge Maximiliano Savarino interrupted her and reminded her that she had to tell the truth.
In her initial testimony before the prosecution in 2021, Jordan claimed that Maradona and Gianinna had chosen the house in San Andrés after his discharge. She also pointed out that Jana signed the contract. However, in court, she corrected herself and said that she was actually talking about "the whole Maradona clan."

What contradictions did the witness have?
One of the key points was her account of the final video call. In 2021 she stated that she spoke with Maradona to show him the house. Now, she said that the communication was actually with Maximiliano Pomargo, the personal assistant of the Ten.
"He had told me he was with Diego and Gianinna, but I didn't see his face," Jordan declared. She also added that she couldn't confirm if the Ten participated in the video call.
The judge interrupted her and asked her to tell the truth
The situation became tense when Fernando Burlando, who represents Dalma and Gianinna, requested to display the original statement and pointed out the contradictions. "You should clarify the truth," demanded the lawyer.

In response, Jordan tried to justify her changes: "I forgot, I'm 55 years old and I feel attacked," she replied. She also apologized, saying that perhaps she had expressed herself poorly.
It was then that Judge Savarino intervened and gave her a clear warning: "You have to tell the truth".

What did the owner of the house declare?
After Jordan, Santiago Giorello, the owner of the house where Maradona died, testified. He confirmed that he didn't know the tenant would be the Ten until the contract was signed.
"They told me it was for a lady with mobility issues," he revealed. He also stated that on the ground floor, where Maradona was installed, there was no shower. "The room with an en-suite bathroom was on the first floor," he detailed.
Why did they hide that the house was for Maradona?
Jordan explained that many owners didn't want to rent to the former player. "It was known there would be trouble," she claimed.

When they finally revealed to Giorello who would be living in the house, they assured him that Maradona needed peace and to be with his family. They also informed him that there would be a permanent ambulance, but witnesses declared that it wasn't always present.
