The Xbox Games Showcase 2026 left an extensive list of announcements, release dates, and new games during the celebration of Xbox's 25th anniversary.
Among the main highlights were Persona 6, Spyro: A Realm Beyond, a new adventure featuring Senua, and confirmed dates for several of Microsoft’s most important franchises.

Persona 6 was one of the major announcements at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026
Atlus officially confirmed Persona 6 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The new installment will feature an original story, a completely new cast, and will maintain the combination of daily life, personal relationships, and supernatural adventure characteristic of the series.
For now, the game does not have a confirmed release date.
Spyro: A Realm Beyond marks the return of Spyro the Dragon
Another highlighted announcement was Spyro: A Realm Beyond, developed by Toys for Bob.

The new adventure will arrive in spring 2027 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, Game Pass, Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and PS5.
Gears of War: E-Day now has a release date
Gears of War: E-Day will arrive on October 6 for Xbox Series X/S, PC, cloud, and Game Pass.
Microsoft also confirmed an open beta starting on August 6. The game will be exclusive to Xbox on consoles and will not have a version for PS5.

Fable and Halo also confirmed their dates
Fable will launch on February 23, 2027, while those who purchase the Premium edition will have access starting February 18.
Meanwhile, Halo: Campaign Evolved will arrive on July 28, with early access starting July 23 for certain editions.

Senua will have a new adventure after Hellblade II
Ninja Theory presented Senua, a new installment featuring the heroine from Hellblade.
The studio clarified that this is not Hellblade III. The game will focus on greater combat, exploration, puzzles, and action.
Its release is planned for 2027 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, Game Pass, and PS5.
