President-candidate Daniel Noboa, from Acción Democrática Nacional (ADN), met on Monday, March 31, 2025, with the Ecuadorian Business Committee in a private meeting. Neither the Presidential Communication Secretariat nor the candidate's campaign headquarters provided official details about the meeting, although photographs of the meeting were sent later.
During the meeting, Noboa presented his proposals in key areas such as security, foreign trade, and strengthening dollarization. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of attracting foreign investment, generating employment, and consolidating public-private partnerships to ensure a stable economy. Representatives from about 150 production guilds were present, as well as authorities like Chancellor Gabriela Sommerfeld and elected assemblyman Niels Olsen.
Hours later, Noboa shared a letter on his social media addressed to the Ecuadorian people. In it, he expressed his commitment to writing a new history for Ecuador, emphasizing that the decisive moment for the country is near. He stressed that those who wish for a return to the past are mistaken and reminded them that his ADN is with progress.
