
President Daniel Noboa strengthened state control with new appointments
The Executive appointed delegates to the boards of the mining, health, electricity, and hydrocarbons agencies
President Daniel Noboa signed several executive decrees on May 21, through which he appointed his permanent representatives in four key state agencies. With these decisions, the Government reaffirmed its commitment to technical and transparent management in strategic sectors.
According to Executive Decree No. 635,José Julio Neira Hanze was appointed as a delegate to the board of the Mining Regulation and Control Agency. In this position, he replaced economist Cynthia Gellibert Mora, ushering in a new cycle of oversight in the mining sector.
In the health sector, Decree No. 637 ratified lawyer Stalin Santiago Andino González as the Executive's representative in the Health Services and Prepaid Medicine Quality Assurance Agency. This appointment ensures continuity in a key entity for citizen well-being.

Meanwhile, through Decree No. 638, Neira Hanze was also ratified as the presidential delegate to the Electricity Regulation and Control Agency. Finally, Decree No. 639 appointed María Daniela Conde Cajas as a delegate to the Hydrocarbons Regulation and Control Agency, replacing Andino González.
These strategic appointments aim to promote greater administrative efficiency in sectors with a high impact on the national economy. With a focus on technical profiles, the Executive reinforces its commitment to a modern and responsible administration.
