Spokesperson Carolina Jaramillo strengthened the government's communication.
The single spokesperson strategy consolidated the institutional message and reduced information dispersion
Daniel Noboa's government appointed Carolina Jaramillo as the official spokesperson with the goal of restoring public trust. Her role is to serve as a bridge between the Executive and the media, centralizing the regime's key messages.
Communication experts agree that the implementation of an official spokesperson strengthens control over the media agenda. This allows the Executive to avoid internal contradictions and align the various ministries' messaging with the Government's macro objectives.
Pedro Donoso and Gabriel Arroba, political analysts, highlighted that this model enables the Government to anticipate communication crises. The previous administration left behind a fragmented ecosystem, lacking institutional coherence, which weakened credibility with the public.
Andrés Seminario, former Secretary of Communication, indicated that the greatest challenge is to articulate technical and political aspects. The spokesperson must translate complex topics in a way that is understandable and empathetic, without losing depth or falling into omissions.

In this regard, María Fernanda Carvajal warned that poor information management can affect the president's image, even if he is not the one speaking directly.Transparency in communication is vital to strengthen democracy.
Currently, Jaramillo also acts as a political shield regarding controversial issues, which allows the president to focus on governing. In times of crisis, this spokesperson will prevent misinformation and provide a single institutional narrative.
With her technical expertise, her track record in various governments, and her strong media presence, the spokesperson becomes a strategic figure. The communication structure inherited from correísmo was opaque and segmented, making governance difficult.
The consolidation of an official voice marks a new era: Ecuador moves from improvisation to informative planning. Government communication becomes a tool for legitimization, not just a means of responding to current events. This step allows Noboa to project stability, coherence, and leadership on both national and international scales.
