The American president assured that, despite partial advances, the central point of the conflict was not agreed.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, ordered to take control of the Strait of Hormuz and announced measures against Iran after confirming that there was no agreement on the central point of the peace negotiations: the terrorist regime's nuclear program.

Through an extensive message in Truth Social, the president assured that, despite partial advances, the central point of the conflict did not reach agreement.

“So, there you have it: the meeting went well, an agreement was reached on most of the points, but the only really important point, nuclear weapons, was not approved,” Trump said.

In this context, he announced his decision: “With immediate effect, the United States Navy, the best in the world, will begin to block all ships that attempt to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz.”

The president justified the measure by pointing out that Iran resorted to extortion tactics in the maritime area. “This is international extortion, and the leaders of countries, especially those of the United States, will never allow themselves to be extorted

,” he said.

In addition, he warned that controls in international waters will be intensified: “I have also ordered our Navy to search for and intercept all ships in international waters that have paid a toll to Iran. No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas

.”

In his message, Trump also anticipated direct military action in the region in the event of aggression: “In addition, we will begin to destroy the mines that the Iranians placed in the Strait. Any Iranian who shoots at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be destroyed! ”.

Along these lines, he assured that his measure in Hormuz will have international support and stressed that Iran will not be able to benefit from what he described as illegal practices.

The American president linked these decisions to the Iranian refusal to give in on nuclear matters. “They want money and, more importantly, they want nuclear weapons,” he said, while issuing a strong warning: “In addition, at the right time, we are fully prepared and our Armed Forces will wipe out what little is left of Iran.”

Iran and the Strait of Hormuz

In a second message, Trump once again targeted Tehran for its actions in the Strait of Hormuz. “Iran promised to open the Strait of Hormuz, but knowingly didn't. This caused anxiety, distress and suffering to many people and countries around the world,” he said.

He also insisted on laying mines: “They say they placed mines in the water, even though their entire Navy, and most of their 'mine launchers', have been completely destroyed.”

The president also highlighted the development of the negotiations, which lasted for almost 20 hours in Islamabad, and stressed that they had the participation of officials such as JD Vance, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

As indicated, he was informed in detail about the meeting, whose Iranian counterparts were Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, Abbas Araghchi and Ali Bagheri.

Despite advances in other aspects, Trump stressed that the central axis remains unresolved. “IRAN IS NOT WILLING TO GIVE UP ITS NUCLEAR AMBITIONS! ”, he said. And he concluded with a firm stance that he held for years: “IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON! ”.
