The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) managed to dismantle a Palestinian terrorist cell in the Ramallah area, in Judea and Samaria, dedicated to the manufacture of rockets intended to be launched at Israeli targets.
The operation took place during the early morning hours and included the participation of IDF soldiers, Shin Bet agents, and members of the Israeli Police's elite Yamam unit.
The forces surrounded a building where the suspects were operating and fired warning shots. Three men exited the premises and were detained on the spot, being handed over to Shin Bet for interrogation.

Inside the building, the soldiers found dozens of rocket parts, two projectiles already assembled but still without explosive warheads, as well as dozens of explosive devices and materials intended for their manufacture. All items were destroyed immediately to prevent their use in future attacks.
In a second operation in the same area, the military located an industrial lathe used for the construction of rocket parts, confirming the existence of a clandestine infrastructure aimed at weapons production.
The discovery comes a few days after the IDF reported a failed attempt to launch a rocket from the Palestinian town of Kafr Ni’ma, also in the Ramallah area.
Although the projectile did not detonate, it exposed the efforts of terrorist groups to open a new front of threats from Judea and Samaria.
In recent years, various Palestinian factions have attempted to replicate in the region the rocket-launching tactic used by Hamas in Gaza. However, so far these attempts have met with little success, largely thanks to preventive intelligence work and the swift operations of Israeli forces.
The army reiterated that it will continue to act with determination to thwart any attempt by terrorist organizations to develop military capabilities in Judea and Samaria, emphasizing that its goal is to safeguard the security of Israeli citizens and neutralize any threat before it materializes.
