Morena is bursting from within: lawmakers demand Ariadna's removal

Deputies demand the removal of Ariadna Montiel and denounce corruption in the Bienestar program

Morena legislators called for the removal of Ariadna Montiel, whom they labeled "nefarious" and "corrupt". What was once covered up is now spoken aloud. From within the party itself, they are beginning to break the silence about what everyone knew:
public positions used as tools to divert resources.

More than 80 deputies raised their voices against Ariadna Montiel.  They accused her of hiding information, using welfare resources for political purposes, and closing dialogue with state delegates. The regime's most important social program stopped being a symbol of unity and became the center of an internal fracture.

Sheinbaum supports Montiel and disregards her own caucus

Claudia Sheinbaum defended Ariadna Montiel  saying that "she is extraordinary", despite more than 80 Morena deputies demanding her removal due to corruption.

The president downplayed the complaints and made it clear that in her government, loyalty outweighs accountability.

Montiel stays, even if Morena fractures.

The automatic support exposes the logic of the 4T:
it doesn't matter if there is opacity or abuse, as long as the piece is useful to power.
Corruption is not punished... it is protected.

Broken unity, interests in sight

The episode not only exposes Ariadna Montiel. It also reveals that Morena's unity is fragile and that social programs, far from being universal rights, are used as spoils and political pressure currency.

When even the ruling party's deputies don't have access to information, it's because power no longer responds even to its own allies. And if this happens within the ruling party, the question is no longer who is in charge, but how much they manage to divert before they are discovered.

Because when the control of registries, resources, and decisions is in the hands of a single official, without checks and balances or accountability.

An opaque network that distributes benefits at discretion, punishes dissent, and turns public money into a tool of loyalty. In that scheme, there is no social justice, only administration of subjugation. And those who dare to question it do so from within, with fear and untimely.
