Débora Falabella and Adriana Esteves starred in a long-awaited reunion that stirred nostalgia among fans of Avenida Brasil. The actresses, remembered for portraying Nina and Carminha, appeared together again during the recording of the traditional end-of-year campaign for TV Globo in Brazil. The images quickly circulated on social media, just as anticipation grows for Avenida Brasil 2, the continuation of the hit soap opera set to air on Brazilian television in January 2027.
The meeting took place at the network's studios in Rio de Janeiro during recordings on October 28 and 29. Far from the rivalry they portrayed in the fiction, both appeared smiling, holding hands, and with a striking coincidence: they both chose red dresses for the occasion.
The long-awaited reunion of Nina and Carminha before Avenida Brasil 2
The images of Falabella and Esteves were shared by Globo's official channels and generated numerous comments from fans recalling the confrontations of their characters.

The official account of Gshow, the entertainment portal of the network, celebrated the reunion with a post that read: "Oh my God, they are together!", accompanied by a reference to the upcoming premiere of Avenida Brasil 2.
The moment brought together the protagonists of one of the most recognized conflicts in Brazilian television.
In the original soap opera, which premiered in 2012, Nina sought revenge on Carminha, her stepmother, who had abandoned her in a dump when she was a child.
The story became an international phenomenon and gained enormous popularity in Argentina, where its protagonists also achieved great recognition.
The red dresses that caught attention at the Globo event
In addition to the reunion, another detail shared by both actresses was the choice of red as the highlight of their outfits.

Débora Falabella wore a long satin dress with voluminous sleeves, a high neckline, and draping that accentuated her waist. She completed her look with her hair up, circular earrings, and red lips.
On the other hand, Adriana Esteves chose a sleeveless midi design with a high collar and diagonal draping. She wore her hair down, styled in soft waves, and opted for discreet accessories.
The photographs were taken during the recording of the end-of-year institutional campaign, which brought together numerous figures from Brazilian television.
