The first candidate for deputy for La Libertad Avanza in the City of Buenos Aires, Alejandro Fargosi, highlighted the importance of the midterm elections to consolidate the reforms promoted by President Javier Milei.
In an exclusive interview with La Derecha Diario, he analyzed the country's direction, the need for a deep change in labor and tax legislation, and called on voters in Buenos Aires to support Milei's project.
"Milei has the willpower to confront the entire political class"
The lawyer and former member of the Magistracy Council, Alejandro Fargosi, explained why he decided to join the movement led by Javier Milei. According to him, his political career has always been marked by the defense of freedom: "Since I was very young, I sought freedom in the fullest sense of liberalism, a word that for decades was frowned upon in Argentina."
In this regard, he valued the President's leadership: "Milei is the fullest expression of liberalism, an expert economist who knows what he wants and how to achieve it. He has something admirable: willpower. He confronts an entire political class that has enriched itself at the expense of those who work."
Fargosi emphasized that he shares with Milei "a huge philosophical and economic agreement" and stated that the government's measures are heading in the right direction, highlighting the reduction of the income tax and the incentive for economic formalization.

"The midterm elections will be key to consolidating the changes"
The liberal candidate considered that the midterm elections will define the country's political future. "It is essential to have more deputies and senators who support the reforms. Without a parliamentary majority, the progress achieved could be halted or even reversed," he warned.
He also called on voters to remember recent history: "In 2003, Kirchnerism came to power due to an absurd division of the liberal vote. We can't repeat that mistake. Voting for options similar to La Libertad Avanza is giving power away to Kirchnerism," he stated firmly.
"Legislators must be measured by the freedoms they return, not by the number of laws"
Regarding his legislative priorities, Fargosi announced that he will seek to promote structural reforms to debureaucratize the system and ease the tax burden.
"It is not about creating more laws, but about returning freedoms. The Argentine system has become a maze that punishes those who work and rewards those who hinder," he explained.
He also raised the need for a deep tax and labor reform, stating that the current pension system is bankrupt and must be rethought.

"We have six million retirees and six million registered workers. It is mathematically unviable. Formal employment must be encouraged and the union business must end," he stated.
"We are entering the normal world: the country is starting to show results"
Fargosi highlighted the first economic achievements of Milei's government, mentioning the growth of exports and the reduction of taxes. "There is more production, more trade, incomes are rising. Lifting a country devastated by Peronism and Kirchnerism can't be achieved in a year and a half, but results are already beginning to appear," he said.
The leader asked for support for the President in consolidating the change: "We have to give Milei the opportunity to complete his cycle. Next year will be infinitely better."
"Voters in Buenos Aires must trust La Libertad Avanza again"
Regarding his campaign in the City of Buenos Aires, Fargosi celebrated the alliance with PRO and with figures such as Mauricio Macri and Patricia Bullrich.
"We are absolutely aligned with the President. In the City, this is clearly evident: it is a project for all Argentines, not for a small group," he stressed.
He also explained the importance of correctly marking the two Xs on the ballot, one for senators and one for deputies, to guarantee full support for the liberal movement.
"Freedom is the engine of progress"
In closing, Fargosi appealed to the memory and patriotism of voters: "We need to recover Argentina's freedom. When we were a free country, we made progress. Today, we must defeat that political, union, and business class that stole the future from millions of Argentines."
With a hopeful tone, he assured that the cultural and political battle led by Milei "has already changed history" and that the challenge now is to consolidate that change forcefully at the polls.
