The Eevee Grove expansion will arrive at Pokémon TCG Pocket next Thursday, June 26, 2025, and the first 15 cards that will be part of this highly anticipated miniset have already been revealed. The new collection, focused on Eevee and its evolutions, promises to bring dynamism to the mobile collectible card game, as well as introduce ex cards, new abilities, items, and trainer cards.
This expansion, identified under the code A3b, will feature approximately 100 cards, many of which have not yet been revealed. However, leaks and official announcements provide a glimpse of what the metagame will look like once it arrives.
The stars of the set: Eevee and its evolutions
The absolute protagonist is Eevee ex (Colorless type), whose special ability "Eevolution" allows it to evolve directly into any of its evolutionary forms, as long as the game conditions are met. This card aims to offer greater consistency to decks centered on the Eeveelutions, facilitating the transition between evolutionary stages.
Among the confirmed ex cards are:
Flareon ex (Fire): with the ability "Explode," it allows you to recover a Fire Energy from the discard pile at the cost of self-damage.
Sylveon ex (Psychic): possesses the ability "Happy Ribbon," which grants a hand advantage when evolving from Eevee.
In addition, standard versions of Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, Jolteon, and Leafeon have been confirmed, as well as a Leafeon card with special artwork.

The expansion also includes complementary cards that could be integrated into various strategies:
Swirlix, Alcremie, and Milcery, all Psychic type, reinforce a "sweet" theme already present in previous expansions.

Eevee's Backpack (Item) is also added, providing tactical flexibility to the player: it can boost attacks or heal all Eevee evolution Pokémon in play.
