In recent hours, France Football magazine revealed how the one hundred journalists who selected the winner of the 2025 Ballon d'Or voted, and the results confirmed what already seemed indisputable: Ousmane Dembélé dominated from start to finish. The Frenchman not only took the award with 1,380 points, but he also appeared in the top ten of every jury and received 73 votes as the best player of the season.
Behind him, the revelation Lamine Yamal finished second in the overall voting, although he was far behind in the count for first places: just 11 compared to Dembélé's 73, marking a staggering difference of 62 votes.

Further back, Vitinha, Salah, Hakimi, Mbappé, Kvaratskhelia, and even Scott McTominay received mentions as number one on some journalists' lists. The most notable absence was Raphinha, who, despite finishing in the final Top 5, did not receive a single vote as the best in the world.
