The business community of the province of Córdoba will, in the coming days, formalize a request for the national legislators to support the labor modernization. The leadership of the private sector considers that the current political and economic scenario opens a historic window of opportunity that must not be wasted. The message is directed squarely at the deputies and senators of the provincial ruling party, demanding a clear and unambiguous stance in Congress.
Luis Macario, president of the Industrial Union of Córdoba, indicated in advance that they will expressly request an affirmative vote for the bill on labor modernization. The leader emphasized that the initiative is part of the permanent agenda of the Argentine Industrial Union and is vital for the country's competitiveness. The business community's expectations focus on reducing litigation and lowering non-wage costs to promote genuine employment.

The bill includes deep changes in the ultra-activity of collective bargaining agreements and reviews of the tax burden on formal employment. It also provides for an Incentive Regime for Labor Formalization that proposes a reduction in social security contributions for two years for new hires. For the productive sector, this package of measures is essential to provide legal predictability and to stimulate the labor market.
