The plan includes freeing sections of avenues where the pressure from these informal mafias affects daily life and economic activity. According to statements from the Council, these measures are not intended to provoke confrontation, but rather to organize coexistence and restore peace of mind to citizens. "Daily life improves with clear rules and a present State," was expressed during the presentation.
The case of Parque Sarmiento demonstrated that it is possible to eradicate abusive practices that affected thousands of people in their use of public space.
