Córdoba: repeat drug dealer arrested for selling cocaine near a school and a church
It happened in Ciudad de Mis Sueños. Authorities seized 2,100 doses, money, scales, and a car. He had already served a sentence for drug dealing
A 54-year-old man was arrested for selling drugs in Córdoba capital, in the Ciudad de Mis Sueños neighborhood. The FPA arrested him after eight months of investigation. He had already been convicted of drug dealing and reoffended after regaining his freedom.
The point of sale operated just meters from a church and a school, which worsened the situation. During the operation, 2,100 doses of cocaine were seized. Authorities also seized $679,000, two digital scales, a car, and materials for portioning.

The procedure was led by the Public Prosecutor's Office together with the Narcotics Prosecution Office of the Third Shift. The detainee was transferred and charged with violating National Narcotics Law No. 23,737. The raided home was identified by neighbors through anonymous reports.

The drug dealer had been released from prison and returned to crime in the same neighborhood
The FPA had already arrested him years ago, when he received a six-year sentence for selling narcotics. After regaining his freedom, he set up another point of sale. It was not long before the courts ordered his new arrest.
Investigators confirmed that he operated near institutions frequented by minors. The impunity with which he acted caused fear in the area. The place functioned as a fixed bunker and remained constantly active, according to records.

Neighbors raised the alarm and the FPA dismantled the drug bunker in Córdoba
The raids were carried out with the support of tactical groups, due to the risk of the accused fleeing. The home contained items for hiding drugs. The amount of cocaine found confirms that it was not for personal use.
Authorities sent all seized items to the judicial headquarters. The accused will be questioned in the coming hours and could face a new sentence. Reoffending in this type of crime reinforces the need for effective sentences and stricter controls.
