Dalma and Gianinna broke down with the shocking photo of Diego Maradona dead.
Diez's daughters experienced a heartbreaking moment when the prosecutor displayed an image of Maradona's body in the courtroom.
At the start of the trial for the death of Diego Maradona, Dalma and Gianinna were visibly affected upon seeing a shocking image of their father. The photo, shown by prosecutor Ferrari in the San Isidro courts, displayed the star lying on a bed with a swollen abdomen.
Before projecting it, Ferrari introduced the scene with a forceful phrase: "This is how Maradona died". Immediately, the ex-footballer's daughters broke into tears. Dalma took Gianinna's hand, and both rested their heads together, trying to contain themselves amid the pain.

Dalma and Gianinna arrived at the courts joined by Daniel Osvaldo, the younger one's ex-partner, who followed the hearing from an adjoining room.
The keys to the trial for Diego Maradona's death
On November 25, 2020, Argentina was paralyzed by the news of Maradona's death. At first, it was a rumor that few could believe. However, within minutes, it was confirmed that the idol had died at his home in the San Andrés country club in Tigre.
The San Isidro Justice formed a special team of prosecutors to investigate what happened. A few hours after the death, the Ten's children reported that those who were supposed to care for their father had actually let him die.

Who is accused of Maradona's death?
As the investigation progressed, the prosecutors charged eight healthcare professionals with "homicide with eventual intent". They are:
- Agustina Cosachov (psychiatrist).
- Leopoldo Luque (neurosurgeon).
- Carlos Ángel Díaz (psychologist).
- Nancy Edith Forlini (coordinating doctor).
- Ricardo Almirón (nurse).
- Mariano Ariel Perroni (head nurse).
- Pedro Pablo Di Spagna (clinical doctor).
This crime carries sentences of 8 to 25 years in prison.

An extensive trial with key evidence
The judicial process could extend until July. The testimony of 192 witnesses is expected, along with the evaluation of a large amount of evidence, including:
- Medical studies.
- Examinations of cell phones.
- Key audios and recordings.
- Results of various forensic examinations.
The trial seeks to determine if there was negligence and if there was a chain of responsibilities that led to the idol's death.
