The city of Córdoba recorded two dramatic traffic accidents on Friday morning, both caused by the combination of rain and low visibility. The weather conditions affected traffic flow in key areas, with wet roadways, patches of fog, and heavy traffic.
The first incident occurred at kilometer 14 of the outer ring of Circunvalación Avenue, near the Sabattini bridge. Two vehicles collided in a rear-end accident and, almost simultaneously, another car skidded off the inner ring in the same area.
One of the drivers involved described the situation as "impassable" due to low traction and poor visibility. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Minutes later, a second incident was reported at 5400 General Savio Avenue, at the southern entrance to the city. A truck lost control while trying to avoid a cyclist, struck a light pole, and overturned its trailer.
The incident took place in 23 de Abril neighborhood, after 6:30 a.m., and caused a partial interruption of vehicles on that road. The truck driver was unharmed, as was the cyclist. No other people were affected and medical services were not required.

Caution on roads and streets due to adverse weather
The Road Police and traffic officers were deployed at both locations to manage traffic and ensure safety. The removal of the truck and inspection of structural damage to the lighting continued until midday.
According to the forecast, intermittent rain will continue throughout Friday, with possible patches of fog during peak traffic hours. Prevention agencies recommended reducing speed, maintaining distance between vehicles, and avoiding sudden maneuvers.
