Fernanda Iglesias decided to break her silence after strong rumors about her departure from Puro Show, the entertainment program on El Trece. The journalist clarified the reasons for her departure and denied that her exit was related to internal conflicts.
On her social media, Iglesias explained that her departure was not due to problems with her colleagues, but because she will join the new show led by María Belén Ludueña on the same channel. The news had sparked speculation about an alleged bad relationship with the production team and some panelists.
"I'm not leaving because they can't stand me anymore"
Through her Instagram stories, Fernanda was emphatic in denying the rumors that circulated on various websites. "Everything that was said in many media outlets is a lie. I'm not leaving Puro Show because they can't stand me anymore; on the contrary, they like me a lot", she wrote.
The journalist also stated that her departure is due to a job offer within the same channel. "I'm leaving because they want me in a new show, which they're putting together with journalists from different fields, and I'm going to cover entertainment. I'm staying on the channel, I'm still working".
